The Navy Away Hat is Back

The St. Louis Cardinals are bringing back the navy caps. Starting this weekend at Wrigley, that’s what you’ll see on the road, every game, no matter who they’re playing. I’ve missed these.

The navy blue was the primary road cap from 1992 to 2012, and then it got benched for red. It made no sense.

The team put it to a questionnaire and something like 80 percent wanted the navy back full time. Not even close. Zero surprise from this fan.

I know, a hat is a hat. But isn’t it cool when an organization actually listens to their fans?
